I don't know if I'll finish this book. I wanted to like it. I just couldn't relate to a lot of Michelle's life. She is a very driven, ambitious woman whose values I cannot relate to. At one point in the book she writes about how she wants her daughters to be "bright, energetic and sassy". Not my kind of goals for my kids. Or any kids really. I'm just glad she didn't end up with a daughter who had special needs, was slow, unathletic and introverted. I'd have put something more like, "compassionate, generous and thoughtful." I've been stuck at the 3/4 mark of this book. I find her husband much more interesting. I think I'll find Dreams from My Father more my speed.
